Business Rules

General Business Conduct

  • Businesses must operate in a professional and realistic manner at all times. Owners and employees are expected to maintain a high standard of roleplay while on duty.
  • Business operations must be conducted fairly. Refusing service, overcharging, or discriminating against other players without valid RP reasons is prohibited.
  • Businesses may not be used as a shield to avoid hostile RP. If a conflict is initiated prior to entering a business, roleplay must continue naturally.

Gang Affiliated Business Conduct

  • Gang members who own or work at businesses may not use their business to punish, discriminate, or retaliate against players due to past gang conflicts or history.
  • Gang members are prohibited from wearing gang attire or displaying obvious gang symbolism while working at legitimate businesses. This helps maintain realistic business operations and avoids unnecessary conflict.

Exception: If the business itself is an illegal operation (e.g., black market, illegal garage), gang colors and attire may be worn within that business during roleplay scenes.

Business Security and Conflict

  • Business owners may hire private security for their locations, but security must follow all server RP rules regarding escalation, force, and initiation.
  • Businesses are considered neutral zones unless clear and valid RP conflict occurs. Robberies or attacks on businesses must have logical escalation and cannot be random or for "easy loot."
  • Using businesses to store gang contraband, weapons, or illegal goods is permitted only if the business itself is classified as a criminal enterprise through RP.

Ownership and Management Rules

  • Each individual may own / co-own a maximum of two businesses at one time unless otherwise approved by staff.
  • Transferring business ownership must be roleplayed and reported to staff for approval. Secret sales, hidden management, or "paper owners" are not allowed without pre-approval.
  • Inactive businesses (no activity for 14 days) are subject to repossession or reassignment by server management unless prior notice is given.

Additional Notes

  • Business owners are responsible for their employees' behavior while on duty. Poor RP standards or rule violations by staff reflect directly on the business.
  • Special events hosted by businesses (e.g., tournaments, races, auctions) must be pre-approved by staff if they involve large prizes or special mechanics.
  • All business operations must comply with the general server rules and roleplay standards at all times.
